I am writing once again to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your efforts to help me sell the home you helped me buy 6 years earlier. As amazing as you were helping me to purchase this beautiful mountain home in 2011, that pales in comparison to the efforts you and Sean and your team undertook to help me sell it in 2017. I had already relocated to Austin and had been there for about 9 months before I decided that I would stay in Texas and that it was time to sell the house in CA. As soon as I knew I was going to sell it, I also knew exactly who I would rely on to help me manage that process and get the best deal possible - the ones who did the exact same thing to help me buy the place the first time! And from that point on - what an adventure! No doubt in my mind that any other agent/agency would have suggested I take what I can get and be done with things after the many MANY obstacles thrown in our path, but it was your attention to detail, your knowledge of the market and the area, and the potential that you knew my property had that convinced me to stay the course. Through our shared attitude and strategy of "raising the bar" every time we faced a setback, we concluded an 8+ month ordeal that saw us go through 2 buyer cancellations, the damage and repair to the water pump and supply lines from my neighbor's property, a freak windstorm, and drafting some initial plans for a second residence on the property - with a multiple offer scenario and a super-clean close in January for well above asking price - just an outstanding result! That would normally be the end of the story - but not in this case. The realization that we had a legal case against one of the earlier buyers and were able to pursue that successfully as well went above-and-beyond even your usual above-and-beyond! And we set a new precedent in CA real estate law - amazing! I was definitely in uncharted waters there, and again it was your knowledge, your patience, and your expertise that put me at ease with all of this. I truly appreciated the lengths you went to keeping me informed on where things stood in this process, answering my many naive questions about this, managing the relationships with both attorneys, and guiding me on what to expect every step of the way. I can't think of anyone else that would ever go as far as you did for as long as you did. Through it all you were incredibly professional, attentive, focused, and creative - and we needed all of that to come through this whole experience on top. I was also very appreciative of the efforts you went to to make certain that my neighbors were happy with things as well, especially after the water situation occurred. Again, no way any other agent (and probably few people in general) would have ever gone to those lengths. Your being able to handle this entire situation almost exclusively by yourself while I was in Austin made this whole process much easier on me than it could have been as well. I cannot thank you enough for everything you and your family have done for me. If I ever return to California (never say never! I never thought I'd move to Texas, but here we are...) I will definitely be calling on you again.
